Bill's practice since graduating from law school in 1992 has covered a wide variety of areas.  He practiced for 8 years with Nexsen Pruet, handling disputes involving class actions, commercial litigation, personal injury, construction, and general insurance/surety-related litigation.  In 2000, he started the firm Lyles & Lyles, where he continued a very diverse practice, while he also developed a passion for alternative dispute resolution.  In 2017, Bill opened Bill Lyles Law, LLC where today he mediates almost exclusively.  Bill has mediated nearly 1000 cases, including 2 to 50 party matters, with settlements from less than $10,000 to more than $30,000,000.

Bill is admitted to practice and has practiced in all courts in South Carolina; the United States District Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit; and the United States District Court, District of South Carolina.
